As an advertising student at the University of Oregon, I was required to complete the course, Gateway to Media. This particular project involved creating a text story about someone who has made an impact on the world. I had the opportunity to interview the two people who contributed to the re-imagination of the, “This IS Kalapuyan Land” exhibit in Portland, Oregon. I focused mainly on Steph Littlebird’s powerful story as an Indigenous woman and what led her to the opportunity to reimagine the Five Oaks Museum exhibit.
